F-1 Returning Students
If you were previously enrolled at Minnesota State Mankato and need to return after a semester or more of non-enrollment, please follow these directions.
Visa Rules and Regulations
While studying in the U.S. it is important to maintain your immigration status. Learn more about your responsibilities as an F-1 or J-1 visa holder.

Changes or updates to your name, address, major, funding, and academic status, to name a few, may impact your immigration record.

The rules and regulations pertaining to employment for F-1/J-1 visa holders are complex. Before accepting any employment AND before working, please discuss your options with an immigration advisor.
